Eagle’s View Cabin

Ryan C.

Eagle's View was the perfect place for us. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the deck in the mornings, relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings, and gazing out at the spectacular view all around. The hammock also became a favorite hang out spot for reading and napping. The cabin had everything we needed and more, and it was the perfect place to rest and relax after spending our days out in the surrounding areas exploring and recreating. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park are all within 20-30 minutes of the cabin, making it a convenient place to stay while still being able to get away from high volumes of tourist traffic. We definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a private, peaceful getaway with a great view and close proximity to town and the park, and we look forward to returning ourselves next time we stay in the Smoky Mountains!

We came and stayed at the cabin for our honeymoon. It was everything we wanted and more. The view is awesome. The cabin itself is beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The hot tub and Jacuzzi felt great after horse back and white water rafting. Neither my husband or myself had an ache or pain after soaking in the tubs. The seclusion was just what we needed after the last couple months. So, if you are looking for peace and quiet this place is great. If you are looking for lots of people and traffic then Gatlinburg is the place for you. Pigeon Forge wasn't quite as congested. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

The ride up to the cabin is not for the faint of heart, but oh, SO worth it! This cabin is in a perfect location--close to attractions, yet away from the fray and noise of the tourist traps. The main drag of Pigeon Forge is unfortunately marred by huge billboards and advertisements for attractions, but you'll see NONE of that from your cabin. You will enjoy some far off fireworks and some lights in the evening, but you are far from it all in this peaceful space. The view from the wrap around deck is unparalleled and the cabin was very clean. I liked that there was not a lot of clutter and a lot of open space. Waking up to the view was amazing and the hot tub was also clean and the perfect temperature. I am a foodie who loves to cook and managed to turn out some delicious meals in the small kitchen. All the appliances were in good working order and the water pressure from the well was stronger than most would expect. We hiked in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, enjoyed Gatlinburg (also very touristy, but beautiful ride into the Park), and just thoroughly enjoyed the whole area. There are cabins galore in the area, but if you are looking for peace and quiet and getting a feel for the mountains, you should look no further than Eagle's View. If you're looking for a giant cabin for several families , loud parties and noise into the wee hours , this is not the place for you. We came for rest and relaxation and that's what we found. Can't wait to return!

We had a great time at the cabin. The view is everything the description said it would be and more. Hope we can make it back one day.

Spectacular view! At least 180 degree vantage point for the GSMNP. Located at the top of Bluff Mountain, we couldn't see anyone else - it was fantastic. Close to town/groceries and the park, but very secluded. The cabin had all the amenities we needed - we didn't eat out once! Waking up to bird song and a glorious sunrise every morning was so relaxing. (The bed was really comfortable, too.) The view is so stunning and constantly changing, that we never turned on the TV, either. Everything was clean and all the appliances worked great. Our first VRBO experience and we were so very pleased.

The cabin is located in a 'cabin rental' community, but was very private. Very nice views of the mountains from the deck. The driveway is a little tricky, but once you get used to it, you shouldn't have any issues.

Our first impression was " How do we get back out of this driveway?" It is a little tight and on a blind hill. You pull in and trust you are still on the driveway. You back out and hope no one is coming down the hill or around the turn heading up. Once you get past that and enter the cabin it is a breath taking view from the living room. The loft is very cute with a great view. You can stand on the back deck and see for miles across the mountains. The cabin was very clean! The bedroom and bath was perfect. I gave it five stars because if you want to stay in a cabin with a beautiful view like this, you must travel up steep inclines and driveways. It was worth it!!!

Very quiet and relaxing stay. Just far enough away from the craziness of the tourist attractions but close enough to them all with a short drive. We had a great time with our 7 month old daughter.

My son and I decided to visit the Great Smoky Mountains. We investigated many websites and countless properties. We feel that we lucked out, the accommodations were accurately described and the photos equally beautiful. When we arrived the cabin was in great condition and as we walked out on the deck the view was magnificent! The contrast from the snow still on some of the mountains, the blue sky and the greenery was a photo waiting to be taken. Thank you Kendall and Leina for providing a home away from home.
