Eagle’s View Cabin

We loved our stay ! If you are looking for a cabin with the best view this is this!   The whole rental experience was wonderful and owners answered all questions and always felt they were not far away if there was anything we needed.

My husband and I were fortunate to stay in Eagles View while hiking and vacationing in Tn. It was our first trip there (there will be more!) The views were amazing! We spent our 42nd wedding anniversary hiking the many trails close by. Everything we needed was supplied in the cabin as well as information on trails around the area the owners had emailed me previously. The owners were very helpful and had much information we needed to get started on our own. A very nice couple!! The cabin was in the middle of everything we wanted. We even had a view of the fireworks in Dollywood far below..it was amazing to set in the hot tub after hiking all day and view the city lights in the distance at night. I recommend eating at the Apple Barn…well worthy the home cooking! It is a short drive (minutes) away in Sieversville. Groceries stores are very close by as well. We went specifically for hiking…and found so many trails close by. We also found some backroads to Cades Cove and avoided the traffic on “the strip”. Free music was available at the Moonshine Tasting place at The Island which was across from the road we turned on for the cabin. If you can only do one thing while there, visit Cades Cove early in the morning. Absolutely amazing!! I also recommend stopping at one of the Welcome Centers going into the National Park and picking up great maps for $1 each, some for hiking, some for driving trails/tours etc. The driving trail thru Roaring Fork was nice as well.  The cabin driveway is steep. I highly recommend arriving during the daylight hours so as to get a feel for the sharp hairpin turns going up the side of the mountain.  Great flat parking once up there.  If you want views like this you have to learn to drive up the driveway! Super nice stay! Great owners!

If you want a small piece of mountain heaven, this cozy cabin is for you. Spotlessly clean inside. Beautiful wood everywhere, fun air hockey game downstairs. Everything very inviting. Owners gave great directions up the mountain to this little gem at the top. Incredible views of the Smokies from the wraparound deck. Bathroom upstairs and downstairs very clean. Water pressure in shower was excellent. Stacked washer/dryer very convenient. King size bed very comfortable as was the comforter.A/C worked very well which was needed as weather was very hot during our visit early August.  Location is excellent as is in Sevierville but when you reach the bottom of the mountain it is Pigeon Forge. Plan on arriving in daylight because reaching the cabin involves a very steep climb with multiple tight switchbacks, and until you familiarize yourself during daylight it can be a bit daunting. The payoff for the climb is the amazing unobstructed views, just spectacular. Close to many attractions and, of course, Smokey Mountain National Park.  I would strongly recommend this property for its comfort and million dollar views!!

Closer to Heaven Cabin

Easy to find, good directions, as advertised! Excellent location for easy in/out to the Smokies. Very close to excellent restaurant (Elvira’s) and not very far from Townsend for other restaurants and IGA food market. Beautiful and peaceful views from the deck. Very open with lots of windows so no feeling of claustrophobia inside the cabin. Well kept cabin…also no stairs from car in driveway (very close) to inside the cabin.

Love the location close to easy park entrances. Loved sitting on the deck, among the tree tops, enjoying one of the best views of the park at sunset with light dancing across the hills. It was never the same night after night. Yes it takes a little effort to get to the cabin because it is pretty high up, but it is totally worth it to get the view. The hot tub was a life saver restoring us after a day of hiking. The cabin was just the right size for us, very cozy. Owner was very attentive and responsive. The driveway is challenging at first but we figured it out quickly. It was the perfect get away for us.
